Much like winter, Halloween is coming – and we’re definitely excited for it. 

And whilst there are some very suitable horror films to watch on that glorious occasion, there’s just a certain charm about watching films set on Halloween whilst it’s Halloween.

1. Halloween (1978)

On Halloween 1963, a young boy murders his sister and is locked up inside a mental asylum for it. 15 years later, he returns to his town in order to wreak more havoc.

2. Donnie Darko (2001)

After surviving a freak accident, a teenage boy begins to hallucinate conversations with a large man dressed in creepy rabbit suit.

3. Hocus Pocus (1993)

A baby-sitter finds an old tape that has three tales recorded onto it, and, eventually, she discovers that they’re all linked to a murderous clown.
