Incredible Fan-Made Trailer Imagines 'Game Of Thrones' Set In The Present Day
If HBO are still looking for ideas for a ‘Game of Thrones’ spin-off, we think we might have just found something gold.
A fan-made trailer for Westeros: The Series imagines Game of Thrones set in the present day, and quite frankly, it looks f*cking awesome.
We’ve got Prime Minister Lannister reassuring the nation that “there’s nothing beyond the Wall”, while the Iron Throne has been reduced to a relic. There’s a quick glimpse of a high-heeled Stark, climbing out of a car with a dire wolf, then – of course – a customary GOT sex scene to polish the electric atmosphere off.
Give it a look, and then try telling us that you definitely wouldn’t watch…
The video is the first to be uploaded to a YouTube channel called Westeros: The Series, so we’re hugely hoping that there’s going to be more…
HBO have commissioned no less than four possible Game of Thrones spin-offs, but they’re all prequels, and in any case, not all of them will make it to the small screen.
If they fancy running with a Game of Thrones sequel, they’d be mad not to hire whoever made that trailer…
