This Terrifying 'Conjuring' Short Film 'The Nurse' Might Just F*ck You Up

Just when you thought that it was safe to go on the internet, a Conjuring short film arrives to f*ck us all right up.

Called The Nurse, it looks at the experiences of a young girl who is unfortunate enough to not only be alone at night in a creepy hospital, but to be blindfolded as well.

Directed by Julian Terry, The Nurse is the winner of a Conjuring competition set by Annabelle: Creation director David F. Sandberg last month. Aspiring filmmakers had to create a two minute short film that would fit into the Conjuring cinematic universe, and that would scare the pants off horror fans.

Terry ticked both those boxes. Check out his movie here:

Horrific.

The Conjuring has already spawned two spin-offs (Annabelle and Annabelle: Creation), and there are another two in the works.

The Nun – which is set to be released next year – will look at the origins of the demon Valak (who we first met in The Conjuring 2), examining what happens when a priest is sent to Rome to investigate the mysterious death of a nun. Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story) and Demian Bichir (The Hateful Eight) star.

The second spin-off will be about the Crooked Man who we saw haunting the Hodgson family, also in The Conjuring 2:

Given the success of the Conjuring movies so far (the latest – Annabelle: Creation – has been a critical and commercial smash), we would not be surprised if The Nurse ends up being adapted into a full length feature film.

It’s certainly creepy enough, and we can see it fitting into the horror universe very nicely.

Let us know what you think in the comments!
