Chilling New Trailer For Netflix's 'MINDHUNTER' Reveals How Serial Killers Think

Share

Netflix have just released the full-length trailer for their upcoming dark series MINDHUNTER and it looks set to be a winner.

Ever watched the news and wondered what the hell people were thinking when they committed some of these bizarre/ gross/ sadistic/ cruel crimes? Well Netflix’s new series MINDHUNTER will bring you one step closer to knowing.

Set in 1970s America , MINDHUNTER follows two FBI agents (played by Jonathan Groff and Holt McCallany) as they seek to get into the heads of serial killers. Kinda like CSI but cleverer, creepier, and with more of a psychological twist, MINDHUNTER focuses less on the crime itself and more on the mentality that causes people to commit sadistic acts.

Chilling taglines include (but are not limited to): “How do we get ahead of crazy if we don’t know how crazy thinks?”, and “You want truffles? You gotta get in the dirt with the pigs”.

The huge buzz surrounding MINDHUNTER is largely due to director David Fincher who not only directed hits like Gone Girl, The Social Network, and Zodiac but also the first two (and by far the best) episodes of fellow Netflix Original Series House of Cards.

Fincher is joined by directors Asif Kapadia (Amy), Tobias Lindholm (A War), and Andrew Douglas (U Want Me 2 Kill Him?). If this line-up isn’t enough to get your psycho taste buds tingling, Charlize Theron is also an executive producer. A sinister dream team if you will.

Due to be released on the 13th October, MINDHUNTER joins the ever-growing list of Netflix Original titles. As our patience for re-watching CSI wanes, I think we may have found our new crime obsession.
