Cast Of 'Goodfellas' Reunite For Scorsese's New Gangster Film 'The Irishman'
Martin Scorsese is returning with a new gangster flick, and this time he’s bringing the cast of ‘Goodfellas’ with him.
Anyone who has seen ‘Goodfellas‘ (if you haven’t, just do yourself a favour and watch it ASAP) will probably claim that it’s one of the best films that they have ever seen. Till this day, no one has ever been able to pinpoint just which element of the flick stands out better than the rest.
The thrilling tale of an underdogs rise to the top (and eventual plummet down to rock bottom) is depicted through stellar acting and even better cinematography, thanks to the amazing cast and, of course, Scorsese’s award-winning directorial hand.
No-one can deny that Robert DeNiro and Joe Pesci were unstoppable in the film, which is why it’s such good news that they will be coming together once again. Yes, that’s right, the ‘Goodfellas‘ crew is reforming and we’re beyond excited. Unfortunately, there is no word on whether Ray Liotta will be completing the trio, but one welcomed addition is Al Pacino.
Martin Scorsese’s upcoming mob film ‘The Irishman‘ will be based on a book by Charles Brandt, titled ‘I Heard You Paint House‘, which features the dark confessions of a killer named Frank ‘The Irishman’ Sheeran. No word has surfaced on just who will played the titular character, but the inclusion of such stellar actors already has us completely interested.
