New 'Annabelle: Creation' Trailer Sees The Satanic Doll Wreaking Havoc
Warner Bros. have released the second trailer for Annabelle: Creation and it looks every bit as horrifying as we were hoping for.
The follow up to 2014 horror flick Annabelle – which also happened to be a prequel to 2013’s The Conjuring – is produced by the man behind The Conjuring and The Conjuring 2, James Wan, and directed by David F. Sandberg (Lights Out).
The film will explore the origins and roots of the eponymous character in what promises to be a truly disturbing movie. You can check out the new trailer below.
The origin story follows a couple – a dollmaker (Anthony LaPaglia), and his wife (Miranda Otto), who, after losing their own child in a car accident, and locking away a creepy doll after it tries to communicate with them – take in a nun and a group of orphaned girls. But not long after, the haunted doll targets the unfortunate girls and wreaks terror on all those close to it.
The film’s official Twitter page also tweeted a movie poster with the caption, “Witness the creation of evil”, to coincide with the release of the new trailer.
