Miley Cyrus Dons An Unconvincing Disguise And Busks In The NYC Subway
Jimmy Fallon seems to have forgotten that the people of the world (but mostly America) are kind of trained to spot Miley Cyrus in a wig, even if it is black.
After years spent donning a wig as the character Hannah Montana, Miley thought it would be fun to put on a ‘disguise’ and busk in a subway station. If her unique voice didn’t give her away, her barely concealed identity definitely did. The only chance Fallon would have had to thoroughly disguise her, would have been to shave her head and turn her into a cyclops, but even then she still probably would have been recognised.
So, with Miley dressed as a dark-haired sunglass-wearing country singer and Fallon dressed apparently as Billy Ray Cyrus, they began an impromptu performance of Jolene. It didn’t take long for people to recognise her, and before long there were hundreds of people gathered around them.
At the end of the song, Miley removed her wig and gave everyone Hannah Montana flashbacks, and then sung one of her classic hits Party In The USA.

What I want to know is how on earth they got them out of that huge crowd of people afterwards. They’re thoroughly cornered in. This wasn’t the first time Jimmy Fallon pulled such a stunt, he also managed to get U2 busking underground too:
I never thought I’d say this, but I think I prefer Miley’s one.
