Ed Sheeran and Anne-Marie Did An Amazing Acoustic Performance Of 'Ciao Adios'

Anne-Marie and Ed Sheeran clearly have a great relationship; if they aren’t touring around Europe and posting hilarious pictures to Instagram, they’re performing beautiful acoustic covers together.

Before their concert in Newcastle, the 26-year old ‘Alarm’ singer, who has just finished the European leg of Ed’s ‘Divide’ tour, uploaded a little session of the two singing her hit record ‘Ciao Adios’.

The stripped back version of the song featured Ed on guitar whilst the two sang in perfect harmony.

Taking to Twitter she wrote: “Was the best thing in the world touring with this human. Here’s something we did in the dressing room before the show.”

You can check out the performance below:

The cover comes after news that the two have been working on new material together.

Speaking to MTV at the BRITs, Anne-Marie said: “Well we’ve been friends for so long and ever since the start really I was like ‘look we need to get a writing session in,’ and he was like ‘yeah, yeah, yeah.’ We’ve both been really busy and then I think it was like maybe a couple of months ago he was like ‘look, I’ve got this song, we need to work on it’ and soooo…we worked on it!

She continued: “I love ‘Shape Of You’. I think anything he does is gonna be good because I just love his voice and what he writes about and so yeah anything he does is gonna be good but I really love ‘Shape Of You’ – I don’t even know what the other’s one’s called! Castle On The Hill?! I like that one as well!”

We can’t wait until it’s released- if this cover is anything to go off I’m sure it’ll be amazing.

Anne-Marie sat down with us last summer, back when we were still called helloU, to perform her hits ‘Alarm’ and ‘Do It Right’. You can check out the live session below:

What do you think of the cover, can you think of any better ones? Let us know in the comments!
