Donald Glover Is Working On An 'Deadpool' Adult Cartoon TV Show

A year after Ryan Reynolds graced cinema screens as Wade Wilson (AKA Deadpool (the good 2016 one, not the 2009 mess)), we’ve now got a Deadpool TV show to look forward to.

The show will be a cartoon for adults, probably of a similar ilk to Rick and Morty or Archer and behind it will be Donald Glover and his brother, Stephen.

They’ve already worked together on the hit show Atlanta, so the show – being made for FFX – is in pretty good hands. The Glover brothers (Glothers?) will act as showrunners, executive producers and writers.

Nick Grad, a co-president of FX Networks said that he hopes to continue the momentum of Legion, another Marvel-FX co-production.

Donald Glover is an incredibly gifted and versatile artist who’ll bring the untitled Marvel’s Deadpool series to life with the same intense, singular vision as his breakout hit ‘Atlanta’

So since it’s going to be an adult cartoon, what kind of moments do you think we can expect? Here’s a few good ones from the comics that would make a good lead to follow…

10 episodes have been ordered so far and it’s due for a 2018 release. Should be fun!
