This 'Female Heisenberg' Chemistry Teacher Turned Her House Into A Drugs Factory
In a case startlingly similar to the best TV series ever created – at least in my opinion – a British chemistry teacher has transformed her home into a drugs factory in an effort to fuel her income.
While Walter White used his science expertise to cook meth, Susan McKay instead decided to grow and then sell marijuana, in total producing £100,000 worth of drugs.
She had suffered a number of personal tragedies – one of her sons suffers from Cystic Fibrosis, while another had recently committed suicide – and had also recently discovered that her husband was having an affair.
She claimed that she was going to use the money to pay her mortgage.
Susan was given a suspended sentence, and said:
“I must have had a breakdown because of what has been happening in my personal life and I have made a massive mistake. I am not a bad person.
I made a mistake and that’s it. I sincerely regret what’s happened and don’t know why I did it. I have never been in trouble before in my life.”
If Breaking Bad taught us one thing Susan, it’s that cooking meth – and by extension, producing any sort of drug – is never going to end well…
It makes excellent TV though…
