Jeremy Clarkson's BBC Return Confirmed For This Month

April 24th, put it in your diaries. That is the date that Jeremy Clarkson will be broadcast on the BBC in an episode of Have I Got News For You. That’s less than a month after being fired from Top Gear.

Team captains Ian Hislop and Paul Merton must be eagerly rubbing their hands together at the prospect of mocking Jeremy for a whole episode.

A spokesperson for the BBC said “Jeremy’s contract has not been renewed on Top Gear but he isn’t banned from appearing on the BBC.”

It’s a double dose of good news for Jeremy after the police announced yesterday that there “is no need for further action” after their enquiry into the now infamous ‘fracas.’

For those looking for a taste of what’s to come, here’s Jeremy cracking a ketchup joke on the show.
