Armed Burglars Hacked Away By Man With Samurai Sword

These burglars picked on the wrong house and they paid the painful price. Dias Costa, 49, hacked down four thieves with a Samurai sword when they burgled his home in Argentina’s second city, Cordoba.
Dias and his wife were sound asleep when the four robbers, armed with two pistols, broke into their home at 3:30am.
Police commissioner Mariano Zarate said: ‘In a moment when the attackers were not paying attention, the house owner took a samurai sword and defended himself, injuring the attackers and making them run away.’
The thieves fled from the scene with the equivalent of £278 and made a getaway in the car they had waiting outside. Not exactly what you’d call a good return on investment.
The escape was short-lived, however, as the heavily bleeding driver crashed the car and all four were forced into hospital with extensive sword related injuries.
Dias is said to be in a state of shock and his family have moved to stay with relatives, fearing a revenge attack if they stay in their home.
Presuming, of course, that you have a Samurai sword at home, would you have done the same thing?
