This Mother’s Facebook Apology For Her Children’s Behaviour Brought A Woman To Tears

Kyesha Smith Wood says her children are “mortified” after she taught them a lesson by airing their misdemeanours on Facebook in an attempt to find the family they had offended.

She has a teenage sons and a daughter and stepdaughter who are both 13. She dropped them at the cinema, not expecting anything out of the ordinary to occur but found herself having to post the following Facebook status:

Ending up with over 250,000 likes, it was hardly a surprise when the woman Wood was addressing, Rebecca Boyd from Adger, Alabama, replied to it. She said the note “brought [her] to tears” and showed there are “still good people in the world.”

She added: “I have no hard feelings towards them and I am proud of their parents. The girls are not not bad…they are children. Glad they are learning a lesson. I hope if my teenagers are out and they act up…I hope someone says something to them.”

There we have it, Facebook finally has an example of parenting done right.
