Meet The Girl Who Just Became One Of The Most Influential Teens In The World
Meet Jazz Jennings. At 14 years old she has already lived quite the life but it seems as though this is just the beginning for her.
Jennings is transgender and was this week announced as one of the new faces of Clean & Clear’s “See The Real Me” ad campaign. The campaign will be featuring a social media encouraging people to use the #SeeTheRealMe hashtag and share their own personal stories. The campaign hopes to promote natural beauty.
Jazz told the Hufington Post
“I feel really honored to be part of The #seetherealme campaign. It’s really amazing, as it helps many teen girls who are struggling. It helps them to find themselves and be true to who they are. I hope they can learn to be brave and not care what other people think about them, because if they just stay positive and spread love, then others will be true friends who will accept them no matter what.”
She has also just agreed to be the star of a new reality TV show “All That Jazz” premiering in the summer.
Jennings has already served as an inspiration within the transgender community. She has worked tirelessly to try and help change the way that transgender people are viewed. She co-authored a children’s book on the subject and recently appeared in Time magazine’s most influential teens in 2014.
