These Guys Got Tired Of Babies Dying At Birth, So They're Saving Them With Their Phones


Uganda has been facing high infant mortality rates for a while now, and these young Ugandans have had enough. They’ve come up with an ingenious solution in which they merged an century old baby monitoring device and effectively gave it a modern day make-over, complete with connecting it to a mobile phone.

And if that wasn’t enough, they’ve also created a device that can accurate diagnose malaria, purely by clipping onto the end of the patients finger. Check out the video below:
