Germanwings Co-Pilot Deliberately Caused Plane To Crash, Killing Everyone On Board

Following an enquiry into the crashing of the Germanwings flight 4U9525 in the french alps, killing 150 people, it has been confirmed that the 28 year-old co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz (pictured) was responsible as he locked the pilot out of the cabin and deliberately slammed the jet into the mountains.

Marseilles prosecutor Bryce Robin confirmed the full account in a press conference today.

“We have managed to get the transcript of the last 30 minutes. In the first 20 minutes the pilots talk in a normal fashion being courteous with each other like two normal pilots during a flight.”

“Then we hear the command asking the co-pilot to take over and we hear the sound of a chair being pushed back and a door closing. So we assume that he went to the loo or something. So the copilot at that moment is on his own in charge of the plane and it’s while he’s alone… that he uses the flight monitoring system which starts the descent of the aeroplane.”

“This action on this attitude selection can only be done voluntarily.”

He went on to say that whatever Lubitz’s religion was, he doesn’t think that it has an influence on the horrifying actions taken place.

Aquaintances of Lubitz have stated that he showed no signs of depression whist Peter Ruecker, a fellow member of the glider club said

“He was happy he had the job with Germanwings and he was doing well. He gave off a good feeling.”

It’s sad to hear how this tragedy came about. Our thoughts are with the families of all those who were lost in the crash.
