WhatsApp's New Function Just Made Your Work More Fun

WhatApp

WhatsApp has been made available on web browsers for the first time. Jan Koum, the firm’s CEO, made the announcement on his Facebook page.

“Our web client is simply an extension of your phone: the web browser mirrors conversations and messages from your mobile device – this means all of your messages still live on your phone,” he wrote.

Android users who wish to connect to What’s app on their web browser have to go to https://web.whatsapp.com

It’s not all good news though, your phone must stay connected to the internet for the programme to work on a browser. As well as that iOS users will be left disappointed as it’s only available on Android devices

Because of the limitations on connectivity the only time we see it really benefiting you is when you’re at work. For those who work at a computer, you will now be able to chat away to your friends on WhatsApp with a lot more stealth (unless you work in one of those nasty places that blocks sites like this, if that’s the case keep this info to yourself).

WhatsApp now has 700 million users sending 30 billion messages per day, that’s a lot of rubbish being chatted and an unthinkable amount of emojis.
