See What Happens Inside Your Stomach When You Eat Instant Noodles

Instant noodles tick a lot of boxes. They are cheap, quick to make, and pretty damn tasty. If there is a food item that ticks all those boxes then it comes with a morbid inevitability that’s it probably not painting a pretty picture on your insides.

Well, now we know. A first-of-its-kind experiment made use of a pill-sized camera and some willing subjects (probably students)  to see the results of eating the popular instant noodle meal. Dr. Branden Kuo of Massachusetts General Hospital found that even after two hours, ramen noodles stay relatively intact inside the stomach. In comparison, fresh homemade ramen noodles break down a lot quicker.

This video unleashes an array health concerns but for those that do eat instant noodles there are some shreds of positivity. The doctor not only admits that this isn’t a conclusive study, he even still east them himself.

Watch it and tell us what you think, will this alter your noodle eating habits?
