Blind Students Receive An Amazing Graduation Gift



For most of us, yearbooks are precious keepsakes that help preserve the memories of our school years and classmates long after we’ve left. Thanks to advanced 3D printing technology, the agency 3D TEK was able to surprise eight blind students in South Korea with Touchable Yearbooks, lifelike busts that give the students the opportunity to remember the faces of their friends.

As shown in the video below, the graduating class of the Seoul National School for the Blind received finely detailed 3D-printed busts of themselves and their classmates, accompanied by Braille name tags like in a conventional yearbook.
