Smoking Cannabis Will Be Legal In Britain With New Product Available Thursday

E Cig

KanaVape is selling an e-joint that will be available in Britain. The device is similar to an electronic cigarette but contains cannabinoids, and will be available to buy online from next Thursday (Christmas day, the bringers of good will?)

The makers of Britain’s first e-joint – Antonin Cohen and Sebastien Beguerie – claim the product is completely legal as it contains no THC.

Instead of THC they will be using hemp with 5 per cent cannabidiol, which they say gives users very similar effect. It retains the relaxed feeling from getting high, but loses the psychosis side effects.  All of this without the traditional smell that you get with weed (nothing was mentioned about stoner red eye).

Drug charities and scientists have done their bit to discredit the product, saying that it could be legal but is a bit of a gimmick.

Since its announcement yesterday the government has not made any statement on whether it will try and ban the product, and social opinion had been divided. Tell us your opinion in the comments.
