Schoolboy Facing Expulsion For Making £14,000 Selling ‘Black Market’ Sweets In School

A 15-year-old schoolboy has been threatened with suspension after earning £14,000 selling fizzy drink,s chocolate, sweets and crisps to his classmates. With a daily income of approximately £60, Tommie Rose even pays two friends £5.50 a day to help run his fledgling empire. Eat your heart out Lord Sugar!

Tommie has stated the aim for the money is to pay his university fees but his health-conscious school was not impressed with the money-making scheme. Buile Hill High School in Salford, Manchester said that he could face suspension if he continues to smuggle in his products – as it goes against their healthy-eating policy.

‘He realised that if you want to get ahead in business and in life, you have to start at a young age.

‘At first we thought we should stop him selling the sweets, but then we saw that he was doing it properly, legally and sensibly so we left it to see what would happen.’

Yes it may break a few stupid rules set by Jamie Oliver and all his tears. But surely this kind of entrepreneur like behaviour should be harnessed and encouraged by his school.
