Rapper Nicki Minaj is on hot water with some fans who are accusing her of blatantly using Nazi imagery and ‘glorifying Hitler’ in the video for her latest song, Only, which also features Drake, Lil Wayne, and Chris Brown.

Minaj features as a dictator in the animated video, and the critics are claiming that it’s inspired by the black and white Nazi-propaganda films of German director Leni Riefenstahl.

Soldiers wearing red armbands similar to those worn by the Nazis, and large red banner flags with an overlapping Y-M symbol that is reminiscent of a swastika both feature prominently during the video.

YM represents Young Money, Lil Wayne’s record label, he appears in the video as famous industrialist Henry Ford. Drake is the pope, and Chris Brown a military leader.

As well as criticizing Minaj for glorifying Hitler, other fans criticized Drake, who is half Jewish, for participating in the video.
