Teenagers Arrested After This Appalling Racist Outburst

Two teenagers have been arrested in Australia after a video of them launching a dreadful racist attack was heavily shared across social media.

Kadar Boumzar can be heard hurling wave after wave of abuse at a security guard asking him to leave a train. The laughing in the background is his friend who is filming the scene.

Kadar offers to fight the security guard between his racist insults. The other passengers were clearly stunned and one man tried to intervene.

Afterwards Kadar posted two status updates on Facebook, one which seems less than sorry, and one with a more apologetic tone in the cold light of day.

The video was shared thousands of times, and even triggered a response from the Autralian Prime Minister Tony Abbott who said, “I think it’s un-Australian to abuse someone in a public place just because you don’t like the way they look, or you don’t like the way they dress, or you make assumptions about what they believe.”

Queensland Rail released the following statement.

Queensland police confirmed that they have now arrested the two men and charged them with creating a nuisance on a railway and assault.
