Sainsbury's Hosts Kiss-In After Lesbian Couple Were Labelled 'Disgusting'

There was a mass ‘kiss-in’ at a Sainsbury’s supermarket in Brighton in support of a lesbian couple who had been told to stop kissing or leave the store.

Student Annabelle Paige was shopping last week when she was approached by a security guard saying a customer had complained about her kissing her partner.

A shocked Ms Paige said she had done nothing but give her girlfriend a peck on the cheek.

The shop floor was packed out for the kiss-in including one pair dressed in full wedding garb.

Sainsbury’s have since apologised and offered to donate money to the charity of Ms Paige’s choice.
