The Viral Text That Says Terrorists Will Attack Today

A message went viral yesterday claiming that there is a high likelihood of a terrorist attack on London’s underground network on Monday morning and all London police officers have been called in to a special 4 a.m. shift.

An example of the message can be seen below.

Naturally, this message caused quite the stir. However, the Met Police were quick to try and squash the rumours as a hoax.

Despite reassurances from the police, many still took to Twitter and other social networks to warn people from travelling on the underground.

Stories in the helloU office were mixed this morning. Some reported their tube journey being eerily quiet, and suspect many were avoiding the mode of transport. Where as others could barely move for sweaty armpits in their face on Monday rush hour.
