It seems like some of us weren’t listening in school during sex education.

A survey conducted by Bayer Healthcare of British Women aged 25-34 threw up some very alarming results. Over a quarter of women questioned had heard of people using alternative contraceptives, including plastic sandwich bags, cling film, and latex gloves.

You can just see the latex gloves advert now, “Accommodating for five different sizes”. Woe is the man that uses the pinky finger.

The oddities don;t stop at contraception. One in ten people believe it to be impossible to get pregnant during your period, and 17% of those questioned admitted to having relied on the withdrawal method in the past.
