Scroobious Pip Stays True To His Word After Year Long Twitter Promise

It’s not often famous people stay true to their word when they make a promise, but that’s all about to change.

British hip-hop star Scroobious Pip has been alerted to the fact he tweeted in April last year promising his fans he’d “arrange drinks in a pub” if someone reminded him once he’d reached 100,000 followers on Twitter.

Well, it looks as if today is that day.

Pip posted a screenshot of the tweet on his Facebook page with the following caption:

“This tweet was in April 2013. Well look what’s gone and happened… Thanks for all the love! I’m out of the country right now but, when I’m back I will stay true to my word and arrange a night where I will go to a specific pub (probably London) and buy one drink for however many of you turn up. Infact, if you own or work in a pub that might be a good location for this then hit me up. Feel free to give me a nice guy discount…”

What a legend!

We’re not sure which pub he’s planning to host the event at yet, but as soon as we get wind of it we’ll let you know!
