Miley Cyrus' Odd Choice Of Date Sent A Touching Message At The VMA's
Miley Cyrus is never one to shy away from publicity – and the VMA’s were no different – except this time she did it all in the aid of a very good cause.
Miley chose a former homeless man as her date and then sent him on stage to collect her award for best video for Wrecking Ball.
The teeneager, Jesse, didn’t waste his moment in the limelight when he urged the rich and famous crowd to give money to Hollywood homeless centre My Friend’s Place.
‘Though I may have been invisible to you on the streets, I have a lot of the same dreams that brought many of you here tonight,’ he told the audience.
Miley even avoided the celebrity buzz of the after party and instead opted to join her date at In and Out Burger.
