JK Rowling Pens Letter In The Voice Of Dumbledore To Massacre Survivor

JK Rowling has sent a personalized letter, reportedly in the voice of Hogwarts headmaster Albus Dumbledore, to shooting victim Cassidy Stay.

Stay, 15, was the sole survivor of a shooting in her Houston, Texas,  in which an ex-family member killed both her parents and four siblings.

During a memorial service, just three days after the incident, Stay quoted Dumbledore saying “Happiness can be found even in the darkest times if one only remembers to turn on the light.”

Soon after Stay’s speech a Facebook page was set up titled “We Want J.K. Rowling to meet Cassidy Stay” launched. The page currently has more than 6,800 Likes.
